Ecothon terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of tickets and participation in an Ecothon (“Workshop”) hosted by Progress Factors GmbH, a company registered in Germany, with registered office at Beethovens trasse 30, 78333 Stockach (“Progress Factors”, “we”, “our”, “us”).

By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Workshop, you (“Participant”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ticket Purchase and Refund Policy

•All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing by Progress Factors, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

•You may apply to transfer your ticket to another individual in writing up to 72 hours before the event. Progress Factors will consider all cases, but is not obliged to accept your application.

2. Media Release and Data Protection (GDPR)

•The Workshop will be recorded (audio, video, photography) and broadcast or distributed onProgress Factors’ websites, social media platforms, and other channels. By attending the Workshop, you consent to:

•The recording of your image, voice, and contributions;

•The publication and distribution of such recordings for promotional, educational, and commercial purposes.

•The use of specific hashtags and company names when you share / reshare this media

•This consent is granted without compensation and is irrevocable, unless you notify us in writing before the Workshop of your objection. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests where possible.

•ProgressFactors is the Data Controller of your personal data. Your data will be processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General DataProtection Regulation – GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.

•You have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data at anytime by contacting contact(at)progressfactors.com. And can view our Privacy Policy on https://www.progressfactors.com/privacy-policy

3. Intellectual Property and Ownership of Ideas

•All ideas, media, concepts, business models, innovations, or intellectual property("IP") developed during the Workshop — individually or collaboratively — shall by default become the exclusive property of Progress Factors.

•Participants may apply to Progress Factors for a share of ownership of specific ideas they co-created. If approved, up to 75% ownership of the idea may be granted to the participant under a separate, mutually agreed contract.

•ProgressFactors retains full discretion to approve or deny such applications, and no ownership rights are transferred unless explicitly agreed in writing.

4. Code of Conduct

•All participants are expected to act respectfully, inclusively, and professionally.

•Although theWorkshop may promote or discuss the benefits of sustainability, e.g.,"technological innovation", "entrepreneurship",”profitability", etc., it is a non-political event. Political campaigning, propaganda, or partisan discussions are not permitted during theWorkshop.

•ProgressFactors reserves the right to remove any participant who engages in disruptive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour, without entitlement to a refund.

5. Confidentiality and Public Sharing

•The Workshop is a collaborative, open environment. Progress Factors does not guarantee confidentiality of information shared by participants.

•You should not disclose any confidential or proprietary information unless you accept the risk of public sharing.

6. Limitation of Liability

•ProgressFactors is not liable for any loss, injury, damage, or expense incurred in connection with your attendance, unless caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

•Participation is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own belongings and conduct.

7. Force Majeure and Changes to the Event Planning

•If theWorkshop is postponed or moved to a location further than 100km from the original location, participants will be informed promptly and given the option to either:

•Attend the moved/rescheduled event, or

•Request a full refund of the ticket price.

•ProgressFactors’ liability for cancellation or postponement is strictly limited to the full refund of the ticket price. No further compensation or damages shall be payable.

•ProgressFactors shall not be liable or provide refunds for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, pandemics, or government restrictions. In the event of a cancellation due to circumstances within Progress Factors’ reasonable control, a full refund of the ticket price will also be provided.

8. GoverningLaw and Jurisdiction

•These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany.

•Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts closest to Progress Factors GmbH’s registered address.

9. Modifications

•ProgressFactors reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The most current version will be published on our website and applies immediately upon publication.

10. Severability Clause

•If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court or authority, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the intended legal and commercial purpose of the original.
